SL28 and SL34 are Scott Laboratory selections developed in the 1930s that define Kenya's coffee identity. SL28 thrives at higher altitudes and contributes blackcurrant and citrus intensity, while SL34 adds floral complexity and full body. Together they produce the vibrant acidity and sweetness Kenya AA is world-renowned for.

Ichamara Factory · New Gikaru FCS
Ichamara Factory is one of four wet mills operated by the New Gikaru Farmers' Cooperative Society, located in the Mukurwe-ini Sub-County of Nyeri. Registered in 2001, New Gikaru FCS promotes economic empowerment through cooperative values. Member farmers cultivate coffee on small plots averaging 0.15 hectares in deep red volcanic loam soils. Ripe cherries are handpicked and processed using environmentally conscious washed methods with double fermentation, then sun-dried on raised beds.
